In ‘River’s End’, I explore the landscape inspired by the limestone grandeur of Malham Cove and the hidden chambers of the Ingleton Waterfalls.
 
This painting captures the energy of both force and fluidity.  The palette of deep violets, soft blues, and cool greys is broken by accents of yellow—a nod to the Yin and Yang of light of the moment. 
 
The intuiative way I arrived at the finished piece, mean the canvas is punctuated with nodules, marks and textural details that bring it alive.
