A Kind of Remembering is a painting that feels as though it's lived a thousand lives! 
 
It began as a far more abstract painting, one that I immediately loved but didn’t know how to move forward. I kept showing up, and slowly the canvas found a new direction. First came the raw sienna ‘sky’;  underneath then, a forgotten garden, or perhaps a clearing — a place that feels somehow familiar, though it may never have existed.
 
Softened by time and quiet shafts of light, there’s a fleeting sense of remembering somewhere you can’t quite place, somewhere peaceful and familiar.
