The Filey Fisherman captures High Tide in Short Wellies, the striking 12-foot sculpture by Ray Lonsdale and is my first ever relief print.

Hand-carved by me and printed using navy then bronze oil-based ink, each original print is pressed by hand, making every piece a truly handmade, one-of-a-kind impression. The hands-on process means every print is subtly unique, with its own character and variations in the details captured on paper.

Finished with a vibrant neon frame, it’s a celebration of both the sculpture and the wonderfully tactile, unpredictable nature of printmaking.
