Blush Tide features the headland as a silent sentinel in repose—a moment where the monumental weight of the chalk stone is softened by a fleeting, atmospheric glow.
 
I wanted this piece to create a contrast between the pinky-peach sky and the raw, textured cliffs that anchor the scene.  Below, the sea surges in a textured collision of black, gold, and pink, echoing the sky’s warmth while retaining the dark, rhythmic power of the North Sea.
