Kernow’s Edge explores the frayed boundaries of the Cornish coast between ancient and Atlantic . The spectral silhouette of a castle ruin—evocative of Tintagel’s legendary cliffs—emerges between rocky outlines and ocean spray.
This playful piece uses a vintage map (so old I couldn’t find a date on it) to layer historical cartography with abstract energy of the North Cornwall shore.
Mixed Media on premium acid free 300g/m2 paper.
Comes mounted in off white and framed in a custom-made taupe wood frame.
📌 The art has been shot behind the glass of the frame, so there are some slight reflections in the image that are not there in actuality.
