I’m not going to elaborate this description. Truth is I did not intended to paint an oriental garden 🌸
 
My inception point for this piece was pink, not a colour I’d usually work with, but which I felt drawn to at the beginning of the year. 
From there, I was drawn to the grey pairing and after creating some early marks with pussy willow, the piece tumbled out with ease. 
Staying fresh as an intuitive painter means going with the flow and allowing for what comes through which is this piece all over. 
I don’t know who this piece is for, and I may be wrong, but I have a feeling it’s for a specific someone hence it’s name.
